OrthoArizona surgeon Dr. Keith Jarbo receives community service award: 3 notes

HonorHealth John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital in Phoenix presented OrthoArizona orthopedic sports medicine surgeon Keith Jarbo, MD, with the 2018 Citizenship and Community Service Award.

Here are three things to know.

1. Dr. Jarbo was recognized for his work with Phoenix-based Team Of Physicians for Students, which provides free sports physical screenings to high school and college-aged student athletes.

2. Under Dr. Jarbo's guidance, the TOPS program has performed thousands of annual physicals across 13 Phoenix area schools.

3. Dr. Jarbo received his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and underwent sports medicine fellowship training at UHZ Sports Medicine Institute in Miami.
