Ian Duncan, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Visalia, Calif.-based Orthopaedic Associates Medical Clinic.
A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Duncan specializes in minimally invasive procedures of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. He also has expertise in small-incision techniques for fracture care.
Dr. Duncan has served in leadership roles at several Visalia-based organizations, including Kaweah Delta Health Care District, Sequoia Surgery Center, Central California Orthopaedic Associates and Visalia Orthopaedic Co-Management Group.
His professional memberships include the Western Orthopaedic Association, American Association of Orthopaedic Sport Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Duncan earned his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He completed an internship and residency at Philadelphia-based Temple University Hospital before undergoing fellowship training at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, also in Philadelphia.
