Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Stuart Anderson, MD, joined Wheeling (W.Va.) Hospital, The Columbus Dispatch reports.
Here are three things to know:
1. Dr. Anderson specializes in joint replacement, sports medicine, orthopedic trauma and fracture care.
2. He received his medical degree from Philadelphia-based Sidney Kimmel Medical College, formerly known as Thomas Jefferson Medical College. He underwent trauma fellowship training at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in Scotland.
3. Founded in 1850, the 247-bed Wheeling Hospital employs 275 physicians.
