Kingwood, W.Va.,-based Preston Memorial Hospital’s orthopedic surgery department added knee and hip replacement surgeries, ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair and more to its list of services, according to the Preston County News Journal.
The hospital also added two orthopedic surgeons to its staff — Daniel Milam, DO, and Linda Jackson, MD, and is looking to add a third in the future.
Dr. Milam received his medical degree from the Kirksville (Mo.) College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency at the East Lansing based-Michigan State University, St. John Health System as well as an orthopedic residency at the Hospital for Joint Disease Institute in New York City
He completed a fellowship in arthroscopic and reconstructive knee and shoulder at the Auburn Hills-based Michigan Knee and Shoulder Institute. Dr. Milam is board-certified in orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Jackson received her medical degree from the New York City-based Presbyterian College of Physicians and Surgeons, and completed her residency at the Hartford-based University of Connecticut.
She completed a fellowship at New York City-based The Hospital for Special Surgery.
