Michael Grafe, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Redwood Orthopaedic Surgery Associates in Santa Rosa, Calif.
Dr. Grafe joined Redwood Orthopaedic Surgery Associates in 2005, specializing in shoulder, elbow, hand and upper extremity treatments.
Dr. Grafe is the upper extremity surgery consultant for Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital's orthopedic trauma service.
In 2007, the hospital recognized Dr. Grafe for excellence in care. Castle Connolly and San Francisco Magazine named Dr. Graf a Top Doc in 2012, 2014 and 2015. U.S. News and World Report selected him as a Top Doc in 2012.
Dr. Grafe is an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine member. He also serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroscopy and Related Surgery.
After graduating from Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Grafe completed residency training at Stanford (Calif.) University Hospital and Clinics. He underwent fellowship training at Long Beach-based Southern California Center for Sports Medicine and New York City-based Columbia University.
