James P. Bradley, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Burke & Bradley Orthopedics in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Bradley is also affiliated with UPMC, where he serves as an orthopedic surgery clinical professor, as well as UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and UPMC St. Margaret.
With expertise in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Bradley specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery and traditional knee and shoulder surgery.
Dr. Bradley served as the head team orthopedic surgeon for the Pittsburgh Steelers for 28 years. Currently, he is chairman of the NFL's Medical Research Peer Review Committee and serves on the NFL's Injury and Safety Panel Committee.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Association, American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and Arthroscopy Association of North America, among others.
After earning his medical degree from Washington, D.C.-based Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Bradley completed his residency at UPMC and a sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
