David Fisher, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at OrthoIndy in Indianapolis.
Dr. Fisher is also affiliated with St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital and Indianapolis-based OrthoIndy Hospital, where he serves as director of the total joint center and president of the Orthopaedic Research Foundation.
With expertise in arthroscopic surgery, hip and knee replacement and revision and total hip and knee replacement, Dr. Fisher has been involved in research and development of total hip and knee implants and instruments.
Dr. Fisher is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a previous president of OrthoIndy.
After earning his medical degree from and completing a residency at Indianapolis-based Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Fisher underwent fellowship training in joint implant surgery at St. Anthony Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
