Tyson Cobb, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Orthopaedic Specialists, PC, in Davenport, Iowa.
With expertise in minimally invasive upper extremity surgery, Dr. Cobb serves as director of Orthopaedic Specialists' Hand and Upper Extremity Center.
Dr. Cobb has authored various publications on arthroscopic hand surgery, elbow arthroplasty and thumb reconstruction for scientific medical journals, such as Hand and Journal of Hand Surgery.
In August, Dr. Cobb was named president of the European Wrist Arthroscopy Society. He also completed a medical mission to provide surgical care to patients in Milagros, Ecuador.
Dr. Cobb is a member of the American Association for Hand Surgery, American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, American Society of Surgery of the Hand and Iowa Orthopaedic Society.
After earning his medical degree from Lubbock-based Texas Tech School of Medicine, Dr. Cobb completed a hand and microvascular surgery fellowship at the University of Texas in Dallas.
