Orthopedic surgeon Victor Ortiz, MD, joined Kayal Orthopaedic Center in Franklin Lakes, N.J.

1. Dr. Ortiz specializes in total hip replacement, including director anterior and arthroscopic hip replacement.
2. He also specializes in robotic-assisted surgery, with specialty training in Mako robotic surgery.
3. After earning his medical degree from Bayamon, Puerto Rico-based Universidad Central Del Caribe School of Medicine, Dr. Ortiz completed a hip preservation surgery fellowship at the American Hip Institute in Westmont, Ill., and a sports medicine at fellowship at University of Illinois in Chicago.
