Sharon (Pa.) Regional Medical Center welcomed Steven Hand, DO, according to New Castle News.
Here are four things to know:
1. Dr. Hand is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has been in practice for 17 years. He specializes in robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery.
2. He received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a general surgery residency at UPMC Horizon in Farrell. He also completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Erie, Pa.-based Millcreek Community Hospital.
3. Dr. Hand underwent total joint and adult reconstruction fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic.
4. Sharon Regional Medical Center is a 220-bed acute care hospital with 19 satellite centers throughout the region.
