Southwestern Vermont Medical Center Orthopedics and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Physicians added orthopedic surgeon Michaela Schneiderbauer, MD, The Berkshire Eagle reports. Both facilities are based in Bennington, Vt.

1. Dr. Schneiderbauer earned her medical degree from Munich, Germany-based Ludwig-Maximilians-University and Boston-based Harvard Medical School. She completed a residency at Basel, Switzerland-based Basel University Hospital and a fellowship at University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital.
2. She is a joint replacement and orthopedic oncology specialist.
3. Dr. Schneiderbauer is American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery certified.
