Davenport, Iowa-based Orthopaedic Specialists is adding two orthopedic surgeons to its team.
Five insights:
1. Kristyn Darmafall, MD, and Megan Crosmer, MD, are joining Orthopaedic Specialists this fall.
2. Dr. Darmafall comes to Orthopaedic Specialists from The Ohio State University in Columbus, where she was an assistant professor of clinical orthopedic surgery. She specializes in sports medicine.
3. Dr. Crosmer was previously an orthopedic surgeon at Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic in Winter Park, Fla., where she specialized in hand and upper extremity care.
4. Dr. Darmafall will begin practicing at Orthopaedic Specialists on Sept. 16, and Dr. Crosmer will begin on Oct. 2.
5. They will perform outpatient procedures at the adjacent Mississippi Valley Surgery Center.
