Orthopedic trauma surgeon and U.S. Senate candidate Manny Sethi, MD, will step down as president and CEO of Nashville, Tenn.-based nonprofit Healthy Tennessee. Dr. Sethi's U.S Senate campaign will focus on repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act, combating the opioid epidemic and tackling the immigration crisis along the southern border.
Orthopedic surgeon Geoffrey Abrams, MD, joined the scientific advisory board at Endonovo Therapeutics. Dr. Abrams will help develop a clinical trial of the company's SofPulse technology for postoperative pain.
