Raymond White, MD, of Portland-based Maine Medical Partners won the Community Surgeon Achievement Award from the American Fracture Association and Orthopaedic Trauma Association.
Three things to know:
1. Dr. White specializes in orthopedic trauma and fracture care.
2. He became the third orthopedic surgeon to receive the award at the OTA's annual meeting in Denver last month.
3. The award recognizes orthopedic surgeons who demonstrate outstanding community orthopedic contributions, excel in research and education at all community levels, and illustrate integrity, compassion and leadership in orthopedic trauma.
