Orthopedic surgeon Thomas Murray, MD, has been selected for the 2020 Maine Athletic Trainer Association Service Award, the Portland Press Herald reports.
Three things to know:
1. The award honors those who have made a significant contribution to athletic training in Maine.
2. Dr. Murray is chair of the department of surgery at Mercy Hospital-Northern Light Healthcare in Portland, Maine.
3. A sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery specialist, Dr. Murray has practiced with Portland, Maine-based Spectrum Orthopaedics since 1999.
