Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, Fla., has honored orthopedic surgeon Alan Valadie, MD, with its 2020 Doctor of the Year award for the second time, Sarasota Magazine reported Aug. 7.
Dr. Valadie, a joint replacement specialist, also won the award in 2013.
He has served as medical director of Blake Medical Center's Joint Replacement and Spine Institute the last 12 years. He is also a member of the hospital’s board of trustees.
Since 1996, Dr. Valadie has practiced with Blake Medical Center and Bradenton-based Coastal Orthopedics.
