Orthopedic surgeon Trieu Tran, MD, has been appointed to the board of directors of Orange, Calif.-based CalOptima, a county organized health system that offers health insurance programs for low-income individuals and those with disabilities.
Three things to know:
1. Dr. Tran is one of six appointees who will serve on the board through Aug. 3, 2024, CalOptima said in an Aug. 11 announcement.
2. Previously, he served as clinical instructor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
3. Dr. Tran has practiced in Orange County since 2002.
