1. Providence-based Ortho Rhode Island opened a new $33 million facility with an eight-operating room ASC.
2. Bloomington, Minn.-based Tria Orthopedics opened a $3.2 million clinic in Stillwater, Minn.
3. Coastal Orthopedics broke ground on an 88,000-square-foot medical center that will feature a six-operating room surgery center in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
4. Pittsburgh-based UPMC is opening an orthopedic practice that will offer spine surgery near Newport, Pa.
5. Twin Cities Orthopedics plans to open a two-story clinic in Brooklyn Park, Minn.
6. Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute opened a new location in Brick, N.J.
7. Farzin Kabaei, MD, opened his new practice, Los Angeles-based Robotic Hip and Knee Replacement LA.
