Auburn (N.Y.) Community Hospital has named Michael Wilson, MD, as its chief medical officer, FingerLakes1.com reported Nov. 6.
Dr. Wilson, who specializes in foot and ankle surgery, will step into the role Dec. 1, replacing Paul Fu, MD.
Dr. Wilson joined the hospital in May 2020, and before that he was chair of the surgery governance committee at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, N.Y. He earned his medical degree and completed residency training at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center.
