Azalea Orthopedics (Tyler, Texas): Azalea Orthopedics was established more than 20 years ago and is the official provider for several schools and organizations, including Kilgore (Texas) College and Nacogdoches, Texas-based Stephen F. Austin State University.
Florida Orthopaedic Institute (Tampa): The Florida Orthopaedic Institute merged with MD Healthcare Partners in 2019 to become the largest orthopedic practice in the state and the 12th largest orthopedic practice in the U.S. It serves more than 145,000 patients and has 101 physicians and 750 employees at its headquarters.
7 Springs Orthopedics (Brentwood, Tenn.): 7 Springs Orthopedics will soon be renamed to Sport Ortho Urgent Care following its recent acquisition of Hendersonville, Tenn.-based Sport Ortho Urgent Care. The company became the largest orthopedic provider in the state. It currently has 14 locations in Tennessee and may expand into other states.
Tallahassee (Fla.) Orthopedic Clinic: Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic was founded in 1974 as the first practice in North Florida dedicated to orthopedics. The practice has more than 70 providers and performs 12,500 surgeries annually at its seven clinics.
Arlington (Texas) Orthopedic Associates: Arlington Orthopedic Associates is the largest orthopedic practice in North Texas. In 2017, it was the first practice in Texas to use the NUsurface Meniscus Implant as part of a clinical trial.
