Stephen Weber, MD, who was an FDA medical officer in the office of orthopedic devices for nearly four years, joined NDA Partners as a consultant.
NDA partners is a life sciences management company focused on providing product development and regulatory services. Dr. Weber will bring his expertise in regulatory strategy, compliance, clinical study design and medical liability in orthopedics, according to a Feb. 8 news release.
Dr. Weber is a sports medicine surgeon and conducted reviews of orthopedic devices and surgical products with the FDA. He is also an orthopedic professor at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University.
