Precision OS is partnering with Tulsa, Okla.-based Oral Roberts University and the Foundation for Advancing Pediatric Orthopaedics to strengthen education and patient care.
The trio established an innovation cluster aimed to improve surgeon education in pediatric orthopedics, according to a Feb. 14 news release. PrecisionOS uses immersive learning and virtual reality to simulate procedures for surgeons.
"The partnership between the Foundation, PrecisionOS and ORU will enable the foundation to be on the forefront of immersive learning, and reach healthcare providers around the world to emphasize how cost should never be a barrier to education," Caroline Eaton, executive director of the Foundation for Advancing Pediatric Orthopaedics, said in the release.
