A sports medicine physician who worked for College Station-based Texas A&M University was fired amid sexual assault allegations, KBTX reported May 5.

Kory Gill, DO, 44, was charged with two counts of sexual assault stemming from alleged incidents involving two patients in 2021.

One patient alleged Dr. Gill offered to treat her for free. She alleged Dr. Gill was drinking and sexually assaulted her during a November 2021 appointment. Another patient reported that a similar incident happened in April 2021.

Dr. Gill was fired by Texas A&M University following a Title IX investigation in February. He was released from Brazos County Detention Center on $60,000 bond May 4.
