St. Louis Children's Hospital names Dr. Lindley Wall orthopedic surgeon-in-chief

Lindley Wall, MD, is the new director of pediatric and adolescent orthopedics at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and orthopedic surgeon-in-chief at St. Louis Children's Hospital. 

Dr. Wall is a recognized leader in pediatric hand and upper-extremity congenital deformities and spasticity conditions, according to a July 7 news release. She earned her medical degree and completed her residency at Washington University.

Dr. Wall has written more than 80 peer-reviewed papers and was elected to the national medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha in 2011. She is a member of multiple orthopedic organizations and is an associate editor for The Journal of Hand Surgery.

"It is an honor to have the opportunity to serve the Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Orthopedics in this new role," Dr. Wall said in the release. "I look forward to working with St. Louis Children’s Hospital to continue to elevate orthopedic care for children by developing new and exciting clinical programs and initiatives, and increasing our geographic reach."
