Lori Pagan has been named CEO of Orthopaedics NorthEast in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Ms. Pagan previously served as vice president of operations for the Midwest region of Franklin, Tenn.-based PhyMed Healthcare, CEO of Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Associated Anesthesiologists and vice president of physician services for Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She replaces Raymond Kusisto, who is retiring.

"Lori is a natural born leader," Tammy Tiller-Hewitt, CEO of Tiller-Hewitt Healthcare Strategies, said in an email shared with Becker’s. "Her ability to collaboratively work with and lead physicians and healthcare organizations is amazing. It's not often that a leader is strong in areas of IT, finance, and people-relationship building, but with Lori it is truly the entire package. I also want to add that Lori is fun to be around because she empowers and lifts people up."

Orthopaedics NorthEast has 37 physicians and 11 locations across Northern Indiana, according to its website.
