Parikshit "Park" Mehendale has joined Think Surgical as its new vice president of operations.
Mr. Mehendale has worked in global operations for the last 20 years, including at medical technology companies Stryker, Zimmer-Biomet and United Technologies.
He will lead the orthopedic surgical robot developer's supply chain, strategic sourcing and new product transfer operations.
This is Think's second new leadership appointment this month, as they chose a new chief commercial officer in mid-July.
"I am delighted to take on the role of vice president of operations at Think Surgical," Mr. Mehendale said in a July 26 company press release. "The growth of orthopedic surgical robots has been extraordinary and shows no signs of slowing down.
