Orthopedic devicemaker Conformis saw a net loss and falling revenue in the second quarter of 2022, according to financial results posted Aug. 8.
Four things to know:
1. The company's total revenue, including royalties, was $15.3 million, down 73 percent compared to $56.3 million in the same period last year.
2. Product revenue of $15.1 million showed flat growth compared to the same period in 2021.
3. The company had a net loss of $15.5 million. This is the fourth quarter in a row Conformis saw quarterly net losses. Conformis had net losses in the third quarter of 2021, the fourth quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2022.
4. The company expects third-quarter product revenue to be in the range of $13 million to $14 million. Full-year product revenue is expected to hit $57 million to $61 million.
