A bill that increases regulations on pain clinics was signed into law in Ohio, according to a WFMJ report.
The new law allows the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy to levy fines against clinics for failing to comply with standards regarding distributing dangerous drugs.
The new legislation also limits the amount of controlled substances that a patient can be prescribed, according to the report.
