1. Stryker introduced the Tornier shoulder arthroplasty portfolio and launched the Perform humeral system, according to a July 13 news release.
2. Stryker received FDA clearance for its InSpace implant for arthroscopic treatment of rotator cuff tears.
3. Smith+Nephew launched its Real Intelligence suite, including the Cori surgical system, in India, according to a July 13 announcement.
4. SpineGuard and ConfiDent ABC expanded their partnership to allow for increased sharing of intellectual property, they said July 12.
5. Alphatec on July 12 reported 88.2 percent to 90.2 percent year-over-year revenue growth in the second quarter.
6. The FDA raised safety concerns with NuVasive's stainless steel Precice devices in a July 8 letter and recommended surgeons stop implanting them.
7. The FDA provided clearance for SeaSpine's 7D percutaneous spine module for minimally invasive surgery.
