Two spine medtech companies saw their best first-quarter sales in 2022.
Devicemaker 4Web Medical reported its seventh consecutive quarter with year-over-year growth, according to a May 26 news release. The first quarter of 2022 was the highest-earning first quarter in the company's 14-year history.
Aurora Spine also posted historic sales in the first quarter. The company's $3.55 million in revenue is a 57 percent jump from the first quarter of 2021. In addition, sales of its SiLO sacroiliac joint fusion device grew 26 percent over the fourth quarter of 2021 and its Zip device saw a 78.9 percent year-over-year increase in sales.
