Johns Hopkins Bayview adding Globus imaging system

Spinal Tech

Baltimore, Md.-based Johns Hopkins Bayview is adding Globus' Excelsius 3D intraoperative imaging system to its growing fleet of robotic technology, according to a Sept. 27 LinkedIn post.

The imaging system will join Johns Hopkins Bayview's portfolio, which includes an ExcelsiusGPS robot and a Synaptive exoscope.

Intraoperative imaging allows surgeons to efficiently visualize patient anatomy, offering three imaging modes in one system. Paired with the GPS robot, it provides a more exact intraoperative, image-guided robotic navigation solution and is designed to improve implant placement accuracy, lower radiation exposure and shorten operative times.
