Jeffrey L. Katzell, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon who has been in private practice in Palm Beach County since 1987. He is the medical director of Lake Worth (Fla.) Surgical Center. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Palm Beach County Medical Society. He has hospital privileges at Columbia JFK Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Dr. Katzell focuses on minimally invasive spine and extremities surgery. He has a professional interest in arthroscopic techniques and outpatient procedures. He is a frequent lecturer for MIS surgery at educational seminars and for the Florida Division of Workers Compensation. He serves on the clinical advisory board of Amendia. He has been involved in developing and teaching less invasive techniques for spine surgery throughout his career.
Dr. Katzell earned his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla and he has completed his orthopedic surgery residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark.
