Harlan Bruner, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon in Athens, Ga. He previously served as an assistant neurosurgery professor at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in Minneapolis.
He has participated in biomechanical and biomaterials studies in human cadaveric spines. Dr. Bruner has contributed to several publications, including a chapter in Spine Surgery: Techniques, Complication Avoidance, and Management.
After earning his medical degree at Columbia University in New York City, Dr. Bruner completed his general surgery internship and neurosurgical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He completed a spine surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
