Eric Belanger, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Bismarck, N.D.-based Sanford Brain and Spine Center.
Dr. Belanger specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery but also treats chronic pain, trauma, tumors and complex afflictions of the spine.
His career started after earning his medical degree from Quebec, Canada-based Laval University. He stayed at the school for his residency in neurosurgery. He then had an internship at Quebec-based Enfant-Jesus Hospital. His fellowship in spine surgery was at the University of Miami.
Dr. Belanger earned his board certification from the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
Outside of his career, Dr. Belanger enjoys hockey, sailing and cross-country skiing.
