Teck-Mun Soo, MD, is a neurosurgeon, the chief of neurosurgery and the medical director of complex spine services at Southfield, Mich.-based Providence Hospital.
He is also the program director for the neurosurgical residency program.
Dr. Soo subspecializes in complex spinal surgery with a focus in revision spine surgery.
His career began after he earned his medical degree from the University of Ireland in Dublin. He completed a residency and a fellowship at the University of Toronto in Canada.
Dr. Soo is board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties Board of Neurological Surgery.
He is a member of several professional organizations including the Congress of Neurological Surgery and the North American Spine Society, among others.
