Ravi Ponnappan, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon at Marlton, N.J.-based Jersey Spine Associates and clinical associate professor at Philadelphia-based Drexel University College of Medicine's department of orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Ponnappan performs cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine procedures and conducts research on intervertebral disc disease and cervical spine compressive pathology. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society and Cervical Spine Research Society.
After obtaining his medical degree at Columbus-based Ohio State University College of Medicine and completing his orthopedic surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Dr. Ponnappan completed a spine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
