Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Christopher M. Bono of Brigham and Women's Hospital

Christopher M. Bono, MD, is a spine surgeon at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Bono is chief of spine services at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. He is also an associate professor at Boston-based Harvard Medical School and a former president of the North American Spine Society.

 

Dr. Bono's interests include herniated disc management, spinal stenosis, spinal surgery, spine fractures and spondylolisthesis.

 

After earning his medical degree from State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, Dr. Bono completed his residency at the New Jersey Medical School in Newark. Dr. Bono is also fellowship trained from the University of California San Diego.
