Jocelyn Idema, DO, is an orthopedic surgeon at Advanced Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation in Pittsburgh and Washington, Pa.
Dr. Idema is a board certified orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in cervical, thoracic and lumbar conditions. She went to nursing school at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in Baltimore and then received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Idema underwent orthopedic spine surgery fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery and motion preservation at the Spine Institute of Arizona in Scottsdale.
Dr. Idema is a member of the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society, among other professional organizations.
She is affiliated with Washington Hospital and Advanced Surgical Hospital in Washington, Pa. Dr. Idema speaks American Sign Language.
