John Sarzier, MD, is a board certified neurosurgeon at Optim Healthcare in Gainesville, Ga., and Brunswick, Ga.
Dr. Sarzier received his medical degree from University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, where he also underwent interventional neuroradiology fellowship training. He focuses on neurosurgical spine care and mostly performs outpatient spine procedures.
Dr. Sarzier and other Optim Healthcare physicians travel to areas in rural Georgia to provide access to critical care, The Brunswick News reports. His research has been published in scientific journals, and Dr. Sarzier is a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, a member of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He is licensed to practice in Georgia, North Carolina and Florida.
