Andre Jakoi, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon at Drisko, Fee & Parkins Orthopedics in North Kansas City, Mo.
Dr. Jakoi is interested in minimally invasive surgery for degenerative spinal conditions, adult spinal deformity, trauma and complex reconstruction. He accepts transfers of complex spine cases from outlying hospitals without spine expertise.
Dr. Jakoi received his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. He underwent complex spine deformity fellowship training at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
He is actively involved in research, which he has presented both nationally and internationally. Dr. Jakoi has published several book chapters and scientific articles.
