Curtis Mina, MD, is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon with Orthopedic Physicians Alaska in Wasilla.

Graduating from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C., Dr. Mina went on to complete an orthopedic residency at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
After his residency, he completed a combined neurosurgery/orthopedic spine surgery fellowship at Leatherman Spine Center in Louisville, Ky.
Dr. Mina also completed a fellowship in minimally invasive spine surgery at Singapore General Hospital, where he shadowed early pioneers of minimally invasive spine.
He also holds a master's in business administration from Duke University Fugua School of Business in Durham.
