Peter Bono, DO, is a spine surgeon at Southfield-based Michigan Spine and Brain Surgeons in Southfield.
According to Healthgrades, his work includes herniated disc surgery, spinal stenosis and spine disorders.
He received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and did his residency at Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Botsford General Hospital, according to Michigan Spine and Brain Surgeons' website. Dr. Bono also did a fellowship at New York Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City.
Dr. Bono has been clinical assistant professor at East Lansing-based Michigan State University College of Human Medicine since 2016, according to the website. He's fluent in Sicilian and Italian.
