Daveed Frazier, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon providing care at New York City Spine and he is an assistant clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. He is a member of the Cervical Spine Research Society, Scoliosis Research Society, Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and North American Spine Society.
Dr. Frazier has a professional interest in spinal surgery and correction of spinal deformities. He is also a lecturer, researcher and published author on spine diseases and treatment. He serves on the NuVasive Spine Foundation's board of directors, and he has traveled to Kenya on a medical mission to the Spine Injury Hospital to perform spine surgery on patients. His humanitarian work also includes serving on the board of directors of FilmAid International, an organization offering assistance to displaced people worldwide through the power of film.
Dr. Frazier earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School, and he completed his orthopedic residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed the Jackson Memorial Spine Fellowship and the Doctor's Hospital Spine Fellowship in spine deformity surgery.
