William Beutler, MD, serves as the medical director of the PinnacleHealth Spine Institute in Harrisburg, Pa. He is a neurosurgeon focusing on the treatment of spinal disorders and also provides care at Pennsylvania Spine Institute in Harrisburg. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, North American Spine Society and International Society for Advancement of Spine Surgery.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Beutler has won numerous awards, including the Research Traveling Fellowship Award from the North American Spine Society. He is a reviewer for the Spine Arthroplasty Society Journal and his research has been published in a number of peer-reviewed journals, such as Neurosurgery and Spine. Dr. Beutler's clinical interests include spinal disorders, fractures, fusion and spinal stenosis.
Dr. Beutler earned his medical degree at State University of New York at Buffalo
School of Medicine. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He has also completed an orthopedic spine fellowship at State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y.
