Michael Gleiber, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with a concierge spinal surgery practice — Michael Gleiber, MD, PA. Additionally, he is an affiliate assistant professor of clinical biomedical sciences at The Charles E. Schmidt Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine in the orthopedic surgery section. He is a member of the North American Spine Society, American Orthopaedic Association's Emerging Leadership Program and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Gleiber is a media spokesperson for the AAOS. He is also writer for the Huffington Post and has written a number of topics including sciatica and tips for keeping one's back healthy. He has also been featured on Fox News discussing nervous habits that are not good for health.
Dr. Gleiber's clinical interests include herniated discs, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, myelopathy, degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, spinal trauma and spinal tumors and infections. Additionally, he is on the editorial board of the online journal of Orthopaedics & Rheumatology.
Dr. Gleiber is actively involved in social media and his social media presence equates to the top 10 percent of industry influencers as rated by Klout. He also joined UPS' #WishesDelivered campaign and matched the organization's gift of $2,000 to help the soldiers and families of Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit.

Dr. Gleiber earned his medical degree at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his residency at Columbia University in New York. Additionally, he completed The Kenton D. Leatherman Spine Surgery fellowship at the Norton Leatherman Spine Center in Louisville, Ky.
