Mick J. Perez-Cruet, MD, is a spine surgeon at Royal Oak-based Michigan Head & Spine Institute.
He specializes in spine surgery as well as brain and tumor surgery.
He is a member of the Council of State Neurological Societies, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Perez-Cruet also served in the United States Air Force for 14 years. His written work has been published in textbooks and journals, and he leads the Minimally Invasive Neurosurgical Society.
Dr. Perez-Cruet received his medical degree from Tufts University in Boston before completing his residency in neurological surgery at Baylor College of medicine in Houston and his fellowship in minimally invasive spine surgery at Chicago-based Rush University.
