Pierce Nunley, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon currently serving as director of Shreveport-based based Spine Institute of Louisiana.
Dr. Nunley also currently serves as clinical instructor and assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at New Orleans, La.-based LSU Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Nunley is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, a board member of the American College of Spine Surgery and a member of the Southern Orthopaedic Association and Louisiana State Medical Society. His work has been published in many journals and books and he has presented his papers both nationally and internationally.
After graduating from the Kansas City-based University of Kansas Medical College, Dr. Nunley completed his residency at LSU Health Sciences Center and his fellowship at Switzerland-based University of Basel.
