Adam Bruggeman, MD, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon at Texas Spine Care Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Bruggeman received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. As an orthopedic resident at the University of Florida in Gainesville, he served as a team physician for UF athletes, proving musculoskeletal and spine care. He was the only orthopedic resident in the U.S. selected in his year as a resident representative for the Association of American Medical Colleges. He underwent spine surgery fellowship training at South Texas Spinal Clinic.
Before attending medical school, Dr. Bruggeman received a master's degree in hospital administration at Trinity University in San Antonio. He completed an administrative internship at Methodist Healthcare in San Antonio. Dr. Bruggeman is an active member of the Texas Medical Association and serves on the board of the Texas Orthopedic Association. He enjoys playing golf and is active in his church.
