Brett Menmuir, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon at Laser Spine Institute's location in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Dr. Menmuir received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He underwent fellowship training at Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis.
Dr. Menmuir recently joined Laser Spine Institute. He spent more than a decade in his previous role as spine team leader at Reno (Nev.) Orthopedic Clinic, where he specialized in minimally invasive techniques for spine and sacroiliac joint fusions, motion preservation surgery, pain management and orthopedic procedures.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of AO Spine and the Society of Lateral Access Surgery, among other professional organizations. In his spare time, Dr. Menmuir enjoys outdoor sports and playing the piano.
