Camden Burns, MD, is an orthopedic trauma and spine surgeon at Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health.
Dr. Burns is an assistant professor of clinical orthopedic surgery at the IU School of Medicine in Indianapolis. His research interests focus on spine and extremity trauma and postoperative pain control after spine surgery.
Dr. Burns received his medical degree from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., and underwent orthopedic trauma fellowship training at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington. He also completed combined spine surgery fellowship training at Harvard University and Massachusetts General-Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
He treats degenerative and traumatic spine disorders and extremity fractures. Dr. Burns is a lifelong athlete.
